  Brian first obtained his real estate license in 1987 and began his career selling new homes in Sacramento and Santa Barbara counties.

In 1995, Brian took some time off from real estate and returned to college where he eventually earned is BA in Sociology from Sacramento State University Sacramento.

He returned to real estate in 1998 where he began selling resale homes in Sacramento. Over the next few years he obtained a series of NAR designations, including his “GRI” (Graduate of the Real Estate Institute); “ABR” (Accredited Buyer’s Representative) and his “CRS” (Certifiied Residential Specialist)

In 2001 Brian obtained his Real Estate Broker’s license and subsequently opened his own “independent” brokerage in early 2003 “McMartin Realty” Later he earned an additional NAR designation; his “CRB” (Certified Residential Brokerage/Manager)

In 2004 Brian moved his office to his current location at the corner of 21st & K streets in midtown Sacramento. In 2004 McMartin Realty also expanded its services to include Commercial Real Estate.

Today, McMartin Realty consists of 5 employees and over 30 licensed Residential and Commercial Realtors and Brokers.
